The way we are currently served content is by no means a neutral, unbiased process. Social media suppresses our voices and buries content with a proprietary algorithm over which we have absolutely no say.

By accepting the importance of these tools but asking for none of the control, we are giving up our ability to determine the type of conversation we have as a society.
